Fact-Checking and Sourcing Policy
Our approach to evidence, attribution and time-sensitive career information.
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Source priority
We prefer government portals, regulators, universities, employer career pages, laws and original datasets. Reputable secondary reporting may provide context but should not replace available primary evidence.
Changing information
Visa rules, salaries, deadlines, fees and eligibility can change quickly. Articles should state dates where useful and direct readers to the responsible official source.
Statistics and estimates
Statistics should identify their source and period. Estimates, projections and anecdotes must not be presented as verified facts.
External organisations
Mentioning or linking to an employer, university, job board or service does not by itself constitute endorsement. Readers should independently verify identity, terms and availability.
Uncertainty
Where reliable sources disagree or information cannot be confirmed, we should describe the uncertainty rather than state a definite conclusion.
